Hello there! 

My name is Madeline and Lulu is my camera. She's a Panasonic Lumix, hence the name Lulu. (Yes, I name everything including my car!)

Lulu and I started our photographic journey two years ago after I had major surgery and it was a way for me to get back on my feet. I had never picked up a 'real' camera before but I was very excited about exploring and learning how to use it. 

​

Lulu instantly became my companion every time I left the house (or didn't) and I very quickly fell in love with photography. I have always had a great love of nature and I'm constantly amazed at the world around us. I began to notice the beauty around me so much more and felt a contentment I'd never felt before. Every day, every forest, every sky and meadow reveals a new surprise for me.

I was once told I needed to choose a genre, landscape or portrait/macro etc. No I don't! If I like what I see I will capture it, my way. So my photos range from flowers in macro  to rusty old tractors, portrait to landscape.
